Jerad's Fuel Pressure Test and Hook Up

91- Chev S-10

-First things first always when working with gasoline use extreme caution, nobody wants there cars blown up.

-After choosing the right size adapters, gauge and hose, you should look up what the pressure specs and access points for the vehicle you are working on.  For this vehicle pressure specification was 9-13psi so it required the smaller gauge.

-This is what it should look like once you have everything in its place.

-After you find the access port carefully disconnect the line. Making sure not to bend or twist the lines.

-Once you have disconnected the right fuel lines, connect the line adapters, making sure not to cross thread it.

-Once everything is ready connect the chosen lines, after everything is connected it should look like this.

-Once everything is connected follow shop manual  testing  procedures for leak down of  injectors and also for fuel pumps one way valve holding pressure with key off. Then start car and test for running
pressure and regulator pressures. The reading indicates that it is 12psi which is within specifications.
